Why WhatsApp Buttons Belong on Every Business Website in India
Indian customers prefer messaging over long forms — how I add WhatsApp CTAs that actually get used on client sites.
On almost every Coastal Code client site, WhatsApp is the main conversion path. People want to ask a quick question, send a photo, or confirm a price — not fill a long form.
That is especially true for taxis, bakeries, and spas where the next step is a conversation, not an instant checkout.
Where to place the button
I use a sticky WhatsApp button on mobile, plus clear links in the hero and contact sections. Visitors should never scroll far to reach you.
Pre-filled messages help too — something like "Hi, I found your website and I'd like to enquire about…" so customers know what to say.
Pair with trust signals
WhatsApp works better when the site already looks professional — real photos, clear services, and your location. The button opens the chat; the site builds confidence first.
Still keep email and phone
Some customers prefer calling or emailing. I list all channels, but highlight WhatsApp for speed. It is the pattern that works best for my Goa clients.
